We The People is staffed by sincere letter writers, including a professional writer as corporate executive and an English teacher who regularly works with students who find it difficult to find the words when they sit down to write. Not everyone can write easily but nearly everyone has something important to say at one time or another.

We The People is dedicated to helping our fellow Americans find the words to make their voices heard, no matter the circumstance. You may be dissatisfied with a product you purchased and want to get satisfaction from the manufacturer. A letter can get you that. You may have a serious difference of opinion with your state or local representative whom you want to persuade to embrace your vision. A letter can express your vision clearly. Perhaps you are trying to raise awareness of a social issue you feel passionately about. A letter will get your ideas out to the people who can help you the most.

Here at We the People, we will not only share with you models of effective letters, but we can custom write a letter to address your specific need, if you don't have the time to compose a letter or just can't find the right language. We want to promote the civil right to make your voice heard, to demand justice, to offer comfort or to applaud a significant achievement. The letters can be for personal, social or business purposes.

WHY THIS SITE

This unique letter writing service is easy to use. 

If you want to pursue using a model to write you own letter, just send us an inquiry.  There is a small $5 fee for purchasing a standard letter.

If you prefer to have a custom letter written for you, send us an inquiry and include the purpose of the letter. We will respond within a reasonable time frame with a price estimate.  Once you agree, we will then ask you for the specific information you want included in the letter.  You are responsible for providing the correct spellings of names and titles, etc., as well as addresses.  

Directly after receiving payment, you will receive an initial draft via e-mail.  You can make any changes you like (after all, this is what makes it "custom.")  Once you submit your reply, you will receive a second draft and again can make changes.  Right after you send us that  reply, you will receive a final draft.  (Any additional changes you choose to make at this point will incur an additional fee.) 

For an additional handling fee, we can print out your letter on textured watermarked stationary and mail you two completed copies with matching envelopes.  All you need to do is sign, address and mail.

Another service we offer on our site, free of charge, is a complete directory of names and addresses or government representatives and department heads, at the local, state and national level.

Other Information You Want to Know

We the People is a not-for-profit corporation which was rejected as a 501c3 corporation.  We believe the IRS ruling, not the IRS, made an error and over the course of time we will make our case to you who are We the People of the United States.  When we have a case to make, we will share it online with you, the people.  This means each and every letter or e-mail.

           
All participants to the site must register and prove they are who they say they are to We the People. Surely everyone will understand this.  We the People will not be responsible for misinformation that has been provided to us nor for errors of a typographical nature. Even though we proofread assiduously, errors are bound to occur from time to time and we will correct them as soon as they are brought to our attention.

We will always be truthful.

We need volunteers in all 50 states to keep us informed about what is happening in their state, what is wrong and how we might help.

We are posting contact information for the elected officials for each state, from the Governor to the House of Representative members and US Senators.  If any of this information is incorrect, kindly inform us immediately.  We can only improve with your help.

We launch this site with over 1,000 letters.  We invite you to search for any type of letter you want to write and to please, please send us a copy of yours.  If you e-mail us a copy we will add it to our files if we deem it to be effective.  

Again, we don't care if you are a liberal, conservative, Republican, Democrat, a Libertarian, or disillusioned and uncommitted to any position party.

We need volunteers with every type of background to volunteer in assisting us:  accountants, engineers, clerks, researchers, scientists, landscapers, teachers, janitors, realtors, poll workers, secretaries, bookkeepers, and yes, even attorneys.

We the People also need you to tell us the things that are really important to you and your family.  If you were always of the opinion that your voice would not be heard, or would get lost in the crowd, make your voice part of our choir.

We have a lot to do before we are going to be satisfied with our accomplishments. We the People of the United States can and will succeed or we all fail.  We should find encouragement that united we cannot, and will not, fail.  We can all do our best to walk the same path as all the great people did before us.  We must not sway and we must be heard.  We must be receptive so we must be communicative.  We are the People of the United States!
